Scholarship to poor students
The Samaj offers scholarships to the students from the families who need help to carry on with the studies of their children and where the families cannot afford the study expenses. At present around 325 students are given scholarships from Delhi and surrounding villages in neighbouring states even. The scholarship offered is Rs. 100/- per month upto Vth Class & Rs. 200/- per month for VIth to XIIth. In view of the rising prices of educational items, it is proposed to enhance the amount of scholarship from the current session. The proposal to grant scholarship to outstanding students for higher studies is also under consideration. Award of Gold, Silver & Bronse Medals to toppers in every field from universities in Delhi has been approved and modalities are under active consideration and will be announced shortly.
