Camps

Medical camps are organized for poor patients. A free Heart Health Checkup camp was organized in the Samaj premises on 14th April 2002 in association with AIIMS under the guidance & supervision of Prof. Dr S.C. Manchanda, Head of the department of cardiology AIIMS with team of cardiologist and technicians. Free ECG & blood tests were done. Medicines related to heart disease were distributed by Ranbaxy on the asking by Dr. Manchanda.

A number of health care camps have been organized in and around Delhi i.e. U.P. & Haryana.


Interactive Session On Chronic Idiopathic Urticaria

Idiopathic urticaria is a chronic dermatitis that tests the patience of the doctor and sufferer alike Aventis, a pioneer pharmaceutical house, wishes to conduct an interactive session with the patients of chronic urticaria to disseminate the knowledge about the dermatoses and educate them. Three such camps have been organized in the Samaj premises attended by a large number of patients because of prior notice placed at notice board. Medicines are distributed free to the attending patients.

Medicare camps are organized at regular intervals in the areas inhabited by weaker sections of the society and near by villages.

It is proposed to hold Kidney awareness camp to guide the general public about the kidney ailments, which normally result in the death of a patient after years of prolonged expensive treatment. If the General Public is made aware about the causes of the disease, they will take care and save themselves from the deadly disease.

Fourteen Bone mineral density camps have been organized with M/s Nicholas Piramal India Ltd. To determine bone strength.

One Cancer Detection Camp has been held & more such camps at regular intervals will be held. CANCER as is well known is also a deadly disease. If the symptoms are detected at an early stage & the patient takes proper precautions & treatment, he can save a fortune, which is spent on the treatment with no positive results at a later stage.

One blood sugar detection camp has been organised and one Nuropathy camp has also been organised.

All without distinction of caste, creed, religion or status are invited to attend the camps.

Free Acupressure treatment is given in Mandir complex once a week on Saturday.
